Digital Archive

The Episcopal Diocese of Maine, formed in 1820, is comprised of 57 congregations, 17 summer chapels, and other ministries spread across the state. Our archive contains hundreds of thousands of photographs, artifacts, publications, memorabilia, and other items that illustrate the rich history of the Diocesan ministries and communities across time. The Diocese has partnered with HistoryIT to digitally preserve a selection of archival materials annually and highlight their stories in this dynamic digital museum.
